CAPTAIN TINRIB'S 'WHEELHOUSE' STUDIO & HIRE :
Yes you heard right, the Captain has decided to rent out his studio along with himself!!!
Its being hired
out on a day to day basis, so all those budding DJs and Songwriters out there who need that finished track in their hand, can now create it with ease!
The Captain's new studio is his closest to perfection sounding boat yet! He's even splashed out on a room measurement mic to get it just right! Loads of room to swing the ship's cat to that pounding groove! Bass surely is in this Plaice!
Captain Tinrib has been sound engineering and worked countless sessions for 15 years now, check the discography for experience on finished, released material. This has to be the hugest factor in this studio's hire. Someone who knows 100% on what to do in any situation. Don't fart about - get it done right 1st time!
The main equipment that makes all the difference:

As you can see there is easily more than enough at the studio!!!
Easiest method of madness is for you to bring your own samples and ideas with you. We'll draw up a plan of attack with the Captain and bobs your uncle, last one out's a sailor boy!!!
No need to worry how what works where, its all done for you!!! Too easy!
The damage for all this?
The price is $500 NZ a day. The day being from 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
After many weekend requests, there are possibilities of Saturdays. It has to be a Friday & Saturday, 1 1/2 day job though!
It can be done in a day, though 1 1/2 days through experience is the ultimate track time.
How does this all work if the Captain is writing a lot of the track with you?
Well, as the Captain in most cases will be putting his name with yours on the track and using a lot of his writing skills in doing so, the writer share as artists is split accordingly. If there are 2 of you and the Captain its split 3 ways 33/33/33. If there is just yourself and the skipper its split 50/50 down the middle.
Our publisher is saying this is mad as the Captain is doing most of the writing on the synths and the computer. But the Captain feels this is the most friendly and fair way in this digital age... Howzat.
Obviously, the standard of tracks from the 'Wheelhouse' are really high. So, there is a near definite chance they are suitable for Tinrib Digital... Its at the projects discretion what happens with the finished track, its also good to let other labels have some massive tunes to spread the sound of our underground to all corners of our genre's realm...
The skipper loves working with other budding DJs and artists at all levels of expertise. Anything is possible. Bring in the pieces of the jigsaw and we'll have it completed as planned.
